The Vision
Inception
—
Erthe® was born from a quiet reverence for the natural world. I created it in 2016 with a singular intention: to honour the earth’s textures, stillness, and rhythms through the art of visual storytelling. The name itself is drawn from the Old English word for Earth — a grounding presence at the heart of everything I do, and a reminder to create work that is both creatively daring and timeless, like the earth itself.
Each piece I create is a visual imprint — designed not just to decorate, but to stir, ground, and elevate. Whether it’s a fleeting shadow, a weathered botanical, or the fading colours of stone, these images hold space for feeling. For presence.
My journey into photography began through floristry — making ephemeral arrangements, photographing them while working under a Dutch master florist in Delft. Nature’s colours, forms, and quiet strength always mesmerised me, but as a florist, I often felt the sadness of watching beauty fade. Photography became the medium that allowed me to preserve it.
My debut fine art series, Anima Mea, was born from that longing — to freeze impermanence, to let a single moment linger. Featured in British Vogue, on the cover of Nikon Pro Europe and recognised by the International Photography Awards, Anima Mea marked the beginning of my fine art journey.
My creative path has been shaped by a blend of artistic exploration and entrepreneurial spirit. I have a deep sensitivity to colour, light, energy, and emotion — guided by intuition in how I see, respond, and create. This quiet attentiveness informs not only how I make art, but also why: to honour beauty, to slow time, and to create space for stillness in a fast-moving world.
Quality & Craftsmanship
—
I’m uncompromising when it comes to quality. Every Erthe® print is created using the finest photographic equipment and printed in Australia with museum-grade aqueous pigments on 100% cotton rag archival paper — crafted to last a lifetime (and then some).
Select works in the Gold Label Series are hand-gilded with 24ct gold leaf by me personally, making each piece a true one-of-a-kind. All custom framing is carried out by Australia’s most trusted fine art framer to ensure every detail reflects my values of care, intention, and excellence.
Edition-Based Pricing
—
All Erthe® artworks are released in strictly limited editions. I honour the rarity of each piece through a dynamic tiered pricing structure that reflects collector demand. As editions progress, prices increase to reflect their growing value — rewarding early collectors and underscoring each work as a lasting investment.
This quiet approach to pricing aligns with my commitment to quality, longevity, and the belief that art should be both emotionally and materially enduring.
Sustainability & Social Responsibility
—
I do not overproduce, and I work resourcefully to minimise waste at every step. Erthe® is driven by respect for nature — not the bottom line.
For every print sold, I plant 10 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. During Earth Day and other key moments throughout the year, I amplify this impact — because art should give back to the very world that inspires it.
Together, we’re building a forest — one print at a time.
I Believe
—
in the power of soulful imagery that evokes the senses.
that art does not belong only in museums.
that great art belongs in the places we live and gather.
in the quiet transformation of space through intentional objects.
in the light that makes photography art.
in the future of handcrafted, enduring work.
in giving back to the passionate souls who help us grow.
that nature and art are not separate, but one.
