This was taken during my short visit to Morocco in 2010. The traditional Moroccan houses were built with mud-brick, a mixture of loam, mud, sand and water mixed with a binding material such as rice husks or straw. I'm amazed by how simple and primitive the exteriors of Moroccan houses are, and they're usually juxtaposed with a light filled, beautiful interior, like this one. The colours of their windows are always in bright hues, symbolic perhaps? Fascinating...

So glad I discovered Moroccan Hues

I searched for a long time before finding Moroccan Hues. The colours are beautiful and complement my apartment perfectly. Guests often remark on the beauty of this piece. Some of these comments have included: 'It welcomes you in' and 'I can stand anywhere in the room and feel like I'm about to walk through that doorway.' A brilliant piece of photography!

Breathtakingly beautiful

I enjoy the wonderful artwork of Anliette, creative and beautiful. Such fine eyes to see the colours and how they fit in nature or to each other.
